Spacers

Spacer blocks project the blind or shade 3/8” from the mounting surface .Use spacer blocks to obtain clearance when obstructions such as window cranks, door handles or trim, obstruct the movement of the blind or shade.

Hold Downs

Hold down brackets are made of a metal which fit into holes in the end cap of the bottom rail. Hold downs are generally used to secure the bottom of the blinds to prevent swaying.

Valance with 1/2" returns

A decorative treatment used to cover the face of a headrail. A valance with a 1/2" return will be located on the outside of the window frame. The valance will rest on the headrail of the blind. Each side is angled with a 1/2" return giving the appearance of a small cornice box. Selecting a 1/2" return adds a decorative finishing touch. Not all window sites offer this feature.

Standard Valance

A standard valance will rest on the blinds headrail, inside of the window. A standard valance is a straight with no angled sides.

Lift Cord and Tilt Cord

The lift cord is used to raise and lower a blind or shade. This allows the blind or shades to be stopped at any time to the desired position.

Tilt cord is used to open and close the slats. Operation of a tilt cord is very easy and much easier than a wand to rotate the slats. It always recommended to select a tilt cord for wood or faux wood blinds. Controls vary by each product or size restrictions.

Hidden Valance Clips

Metal clips are installed behind the valance to hide eliminate any exposed clips. The clips are made of metal that rest’s on the headrail of the blind. The clips are completely hidden and will provided a secure fit.

Routless

Routless blinds are designed to achieve complete privacy by eliminated the routed holes. On a standard blind the lift cord runs through each slat. With routless blinds the lift cord is located on the front and back of each slat. The slats are supported by a small notch that keeps every slat in place. Routless blinds are a wonderful feature that provide complete privacy, eliminates direct sunlight from penetrating the routed holes. And added bonus all the routless slats are removable for easy cleaning. Routeless blinds are not recommended for outside mounts or doors.

2-on-1 or 3-on-1 Headrail

2 or 3 on 1 headrail feature is used for larger windows that would be more difficult to raise or lower or blinds that are not within the size requirements. All the blinds will share a common valance ( 1 large valance ) to complete this designer look.

Decorative Tape

Decorative tape can be ordered in a solid cloth or a decorative tape for an accent. Tape cloths replace the braided cords, increase privacy and light control by covering the routed holes. Cloth tape is attached in the front and the back of the blind. For color options please check under "Colors" tab.

Cut Out’s

Cut outs are used when there is an obstruction that will not allow the blind or shade to be lowered properly. Commonly in kitchens & bathrooms where tile has been installed in the inside frame of the window. For special measuring instructions contact customer service.
